  1. Pack before your move to pack. Give yourself enough time prepare everything.
  2. Pick the right order to pack up your home. It’s common to pack up each room separately.
  3. Begin packing the room in your home that gets the least amount of use.
  4. Save essentials for last. Items you use daily, such as a toothbrush, until the last moment possible.
  5. If you don’t have time to pack yourself, you can hire professionals.

Moving with pets?

Pets are an important member of your family and like humans, moving can be a stressful time for them too. For insurance and safety reasons, we recommend pets travel with you on moving day. You’ll want to pack their favorite toy, snacks, extra towels, and anything else your pet enjoys and have that within easy reach on the big day. For long-distance moves, be sure to stop periodically to allow your pet to safely walk and stretch with you at a park or rest stop.

What about bulky items?
